The Ayawaso Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a vibrant political constituency committed to the ideals of democracy, social justice, inclusive development, accountability, and grassroots participation.
As a constituency of the NDC, our primary responsibility is to build a strong, united, and responsive grassroots organisation that remains connected to the needs, aspirations, and concerns of the people. A strong political party is built from the grassroots, and we place considerable emphasis on engaging our branch members, Electoral Area Coordinators, Ward Executives, youth, women, professionals, and other stakeholders.

Ayawaso Central is a parliamentary constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Local government for the area is carried out by the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly, which was inaugurated in 2019. The parliamentary constituency and the municipal district are defined and administered separately.

Education
- Donation of 1,000 school tables and chairs to selected schools in the constituency
- Free vacation classes for JHS students, organised by the Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Office and sponsored by the MP (4–22 August 2025)
- Provision of sanitary pads to school children
- Provision of free school uniforms for pupils in public schools
- Support for students newly admitted to boarding school — chop box, mattress and provisions
Skills, jobs & apprenticeships
- Forklift operator training for 31 young people from all 12 wards — see featured projects
- Artisan support for fitting shops within the constituency
- Apprenticeship Support Programme — electric sewing machines for master tailors, and hand sewing machines for dressmaking apprentices
- Wall and standing dryers for hairdressing apprentices and masters
- One Million Coders (OMCP) Center for Ayawaso Central — free digital-skills training (coding, cyber security, data analytics, AI and more) at Abavana Down Basic School, Kotobabi (Tsatsu Park); open to all youth with an internationally recognised certificate on completion — see News & Updates
Small trader support
- Cash support of GHS 1,000 each to 120 members across the constituency to support their petty trade businesses
- Chest freezers for people engaged in petty trading
- 50kg bags of sugar for koko sellers
- 50kg bags of maize and cooking oil for kenkey sellers
- Business support kits for Indomie and fast-food vendors — family-size Indomie and cooking oil
Health
- MP’s free health screening — malaria, blood-sugar and blood-pressure testing, eye tests and free consultation (5 December 2025, Atta Nii Park)

- Five new 315 KVA electricity transformers being installed across the constituency — see featured projects
- A vehicular and pedestrian bridge at Alajo North — see featured projects

- Sod-cutting for a six-storey hospital at Mallam Atta Market (a Municipal Assembly project funded by the District Assembly Common Fund)

- A television and air conditioner donated to the Kotobabi Police Station
- Two motorbikes donated to the Amankwah Gardens (Kwame Nkrumah Circle) Police Station, Kokomlemle East Ward
